The Mount Sackville Annual Fundraising Walk in Phoenix Park took place on Wednesday, 17th December. Although the day began gloomy and windy, spirits remained high. By the time we arrived at the park, the clouds lifted, the sun made a welcome appearance, and the weather turned clear and mild—perfect conditions for our walk.

The Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny gathered at the steps to send us on our way, offering words of encouragement and a special blessing for everyone taking part. Their presence added a warm and meaningful start to the day.

Dressed in sparkling tinsel and festive accessories, we set off briskly through the park, filling the pathways with colour and cheer. Our brilliant 6th Year Prefects Team led the way, spreading Christmas spirit as they went—singing, dancing, prancing, and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Their energy and enthusiasm kept smiles on faces throughout the walk.

Huge thanks to Emily Bexon, Aoife Brennan and Elianna Clancy for creating this video.
After returning from the park, a wonderful warm treat awaited us. Our amazing Parent Association had been busy all morning preparing delicious hot chocolate for everyone. The Junior Lunch Hall was alive with festive cheer as over 600 cups of hot chocolate were served, warming hands and hearts alike. Huge gratitude goes to the entire team of PA volunteers for their generosity, hard work, and for bringing such joy and delight to end a truly special day.
