Our students are proudly representing the school at this year’s Young Scientist Exhibition, showcasing innovation, curiosity, and academic excellence.
TY students Finley Cherry Maguire, Aisling Ledwith, and Millie Hoashi are presenting their project “An Investigation into Protein Supplement Use and Awareness of the Associated Health Benefits and Risks among Adolescents.” Actively involved in sport, the students observed that many young people are using protein supplements and wanted to better understand why this is so. The project reflects strong teamwork, research skills, and a genuine interest in a topic relevant to their own experiences and those of their peers.

Also representing the school is 3rd year student Katie Staunton with her project “Beyond Binary: ✔️NOT and the Future of Computing.” With a long-standing interest in computing and quantum physics, Katie explored how non-binary logic could influence the future of technology. Her project demonstrates advanced critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for emerging scientific concepts.

Taking part in the Young Scientist Exhibition has given our students invaluable experience in research, problem-solving, and presenting their work to a wider audience. We are extremely proud of their achievements and wish them every success at this year’s exhibition. Huge gratitude to Ms Byrne for inspiring and supporting the students.
